I picked up Strobe Edge volumes 1-3 in last week's RightStuf sale, simply because I liked the character designs. It had pretty high ratings on Goodreads too. It deserves the high ratings, this shojo manga is wonderful.

zeixble How are you liking it so far? I'm thinking about starting this one as well 7y
nerdify.reviews @zeixble I really enjoyed the first 3 volumes! All the characters are fleshed out quickly, and the main love interest is actually very likable. It's focused on the complications of falling in love at the wrong time & I'm very curious about what will happen next! 7y
zeixble @nerdify.reviews Sounds like my kinda story 😂 I'll definitely give it a go then once I shorten my reading list haha 7y

I was on the fence about this one. The main character Ninako seems a little too immature (she's drawn in a more childlike manner than the other characters, too) relative to her presumed age. The story is about her falling in love for the first time with the cool & seemingly unattainable Ren, even as childhood companion Daiki professes his love for her. Still, there's an innocence to the story that's appealing. I'm in for the next volume at least.
