⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I originally read this in English 8 where we analyzed it thoroughly. I‘ve read it a few times over the years and loved the story and symbolism. I think I‘ve cried every time at the end.

We‘re on holiday at the moment and it‘s got a bit of a literary theme. So we‘re staying at Moonfleet Manor (there‘s a copy of the book in our room) on the Fleet in Dorset. This is the view from our room this evening. Coming up: pictures from a literary day out!
When I saw today's photo challenge prompt #moon it brought to mind this book that I read in the 1970s. I also wrote an essay in my English O Level exam based on the book. So thanks to J Meade Faulkner I passed my English exam.

Looking through my bookcases (gathering my holiday read long-list) I found this. It was my mum's. She once told me that after leaving school at 15 she never read another book. This one's set in Dorset, just like mum was!
Haha what? Is that some sort of old-timey nautical term? 😂😂😂😂😂😂 Someone please enlighten me.
A stack for the #onewordtitles prompt! And Michelangelo on the side. #photoadaynov16 #day19
