Two strangers cross paths whilst travelling. They are both trying to escape Christmas for two different reasons. When they both arrive at the same holiday cottage for the Christmas break, they both realise it has been double booked. With poor weather and car problems, they both end up staying at the cottage together. Polar opposites in character, their dogs have more chemistry! A lovely seasonal read with festive vibes but still a touching story.

Aww what a lovely story. It does deal with grif and broken families so at times its quite heavy and yet it handles it well. It focuses more on the aftermath and how to move on especially at the hardest times. The plot is well written and beautiful. Its a steady build to the expected but perfectly done ending. I love the final scenes and where everyone ended up. Charlie was a great support. #Netgalley 4*
