“Little FLap Learns to Fly“
This was a book we read as a class in my second-grade PDS classroom. The children enjoyed reading how the birds who are friends got to depend on each other.
This book is a fantasy about a bird, Little Flap. This fantasy is an example of a folktale. The animals make up the principal of the story. In this story, Little Flap learns how to fly. I also believe that this story can be considered a fable. This I because of the great moral expressed in this story. The moral of the story is that the birds (Little Flap, Tuff, and Fluff) learn they can depend on each other.
