Almost made me nostalgic for a snowy day.
Just finished this I really liked it 📖😊
We took a little trip yesterday and my hubby bought my v-day presents 🥰🥰🥰📚 love them
This book has EVERYTHING! Thank you @MatchlessMarie for such a wonderful rec!! Would you also recommend her first book?
This really started my reading year off right. Thompson writes with such heart, humor, and STEAM. I loved these characters - full of relatability, honesty, and multiple forms of representation.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Enemies-to-lovers rom-com set in a financially struggling winter-themed park in Florida. I love the setting; so quirky and fun. Lauren and Asa constantly give each other shit until one day they realize their mutual attraction. Pretty deep backgrounds unfold as well. A very enjoyable, mostly happy, holiday read. Plus this cover is so charming! #coverlove
Thank you for your #AuldLangSpine list, @MatchlessMarie !! And thank you to the incomparable @monalyisha for organizing this epic event!
The tagged book is the one I‘m going to start with in January, then take it from there. I‘m excited because a lot of these authors are new to me! And some books that I‘ve read from the list are 1, 4, 5, and 17. The Flatshare is an all-time fave. Thanks again! ☺️
Always fun to read a book based in an area you know well…sometimes frustrating too when the details don‘t feel right…
Enjoyed this a lot! I love a romance that manages to balance humour with characters who each have their own traumas that come up in relationships. Here, Asa is a bisexual guy whose parents kicked him out when they found out. Lauren was raised in foster care after age 10. These two had my heart, especially their little opposites-attract, sort of work enemies beginning. Loved the bi rep! Personally I wanted a little more from the sex scenes...
First, I looove these covers! The pop art style is gorgeous and eye catching. I read both of these books yesterday and they were so fun! I love the representation in these books from a variety of body types (with positive messaging), ethnicity, and LGBTQ rep. The alternating POV between Ada and Lauren really allows us to get to know each character. I hope there are more books like these coming from the author!
I loved this book so much! It was such a feel good cozy romance with some really deep themes and I loved every bit of it. I definitely look forward to more books from Alicia Thompson because I‘ve loved both books I‘ve read by her.
I impulsively bought this at the bookstore yesterday while killing time waiting for my partner's car to be done at the mechanic and I love it so far! I've read quite a few M/F romances with bi girls before, but never a bi guy. Also, if someone forced me to live somewhere as hot and humid as Florida, I would never leave Cold World.
Actually finished this one this morning. I loved it! Had to share this relatable quote 📚
