I'm really enjoying this a lot more than I was expecting to! I love dark academia, so these stories are absolutely perfect! So far, the one by Olivie Blake is my favorite! 🥰

I'm so excited! Starting tomorrow, I am on Christmas vacation for 5 days! I can't wait to relax and read! What fun plans does everyone have for the upcoming holiday?

We got our first snow of the season today! ❄️❄️❄️ I was stuck working today, but I did run outside a few times to enjoy the snowflakes and of course to take a picture or two! 🤭💕📚 This was definitely a good book to have with me today, it really fit the wintry, cozy vibe!

Definition of dark academia:

1. An internet subculture concerned with higher education, the arts, and literature, or an idealised version thereof with a focus on the pursuit of knowledge and an exploration of death.

2. A set of aesthetic principles. Scholarly with a gothic edge -tweed blazers, vintage cardigans, scuffed loafers, a worn leather satchel full of brooding poetry. Enthusiasts are usually found in museums and darkened libraries.

I head to to school (aka work) in just a few days so I thought what better time to pick up these books.

I have read Ninth House before (I love all things Leigh Bardugo) but I thought it would be the perfect pick for my book club this month so...time for a reread.
