New morning, new book. Fingers crossed.
This is going to kind of tell you how I felt about the next book in the series, but that‘s okay. I FB this book was a little more fleshed out, it would have been fine as a stand-alone novel. I was perfectly happy with the way it ended.
Another book that made my blood boil, and I just received it. The writing was poorly done, the way the author had written this, it read as if she was trying to tell the reader that we are unintelligent. While I am a fan of learning new words, she sprinkled way too many of them for her descriptions of things that it literally felt like a dictionary. Also, male protagonist is a controlling a-hole and she LIKES HIM. Nice... just nice. 1/5 stars.
This book was right up my alley. Evie leads a normal life before she heads to college where she meets Reed, who seems to absolutely despise her. She soon discovers he's not a regular boy and she may not be a regular girl, but what is she? And then there's Russell - what is he to her? And what is with all the dreams/visions she is having - what do they mean? I won't give it away but I will definitely be delving further into this series! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
'Reed lifts his lips from mine, and looking into my eyes, he murmurs, “I want those thousand years with you, Evie, you have no idea how much I want them. I want a thousand years, and then I want a hundred thousand more.'
