I am loving this cozy mystery series set in England during WWII. The characters are fun, and the plot and pacing are well done. The writing itself is also so good (not always common in cozies, in my experience 😬). Highly recommend.

My September #BookedinTime WWII book. This is the third Electra McDonnell book (#SeriesLove2023).
Once again Major Ramsey shows up and requests Ellie‘s assistance, and once again there are no detail‘s except a train ticket to Sunderland and a book on bird watching. Thus the adventure begins.
Another good book in the series. We‘ve seen some developments in the secondary storyline about Ellie‘s mother and her romantic life.

Her “boss”, intelligence agent Major Ramsey, meets her there with more info as bodies begin to pile up. Who is the spy/murderer among her new acquaintances? This one was especially good as the slow-burn ⬇️
