While Anna is solo canoeing and the remainder of the group is relaxing @ camp, the ladies are kidnapped by armed & violent men. It‘s a grueling tale of violence and for the women, grit & perseverance. Still, hope pops up.

My husband and I are listening to this thriller while traveling together this summer. Anna Pigeon is on a camping trip with her two friends and their daughters. While Anna was away from the campground, thugs with weapons kidnapped her friends and Anna waits for the right time to #cometogether with them in order to rescue the women.

Anna Pigeon does "The River Wild" thing while on a canoeing trip with two other women and their teenaged daughters. One of the women designs wilderness equipment for people with #disabilities and the other is a paraplegic who will help test the equipment. I love Anna even when I want to shake her and yell at her sometimes, but this one was just okay to me. #photoadaynov16
