Erinreadsthebooks It‘s infuriating 😠🤯 2y

Tamra Yes, this was a great podcast! 2y
Tamra I was baffled by the idea anyone would think a person learning to read wouldn‘t need to learn the sounds of alphabet and then sound out words, and that reading could just be absorbed as if by osmosis. Skills have to be developed and it isn‘t necessarily easy - it requires effort. 2y
Chelsea.Poole Does this mention dyslexia at all? 2y
DebbieGrillo @Chelsea.Poole I'm still listening. I'll let you know if it does, and which episode. 2y
Chelsea.Poole @DebbieGrillo thank you!! 2y
DebbieGrillo @Chelsea.Poole it does mention dyslexia in episodes 5 and 6, but if you're going to listen, I suggest doing it from the beginning. It doesn't offer advice. 2y
Chelsea.Poole @DebbieGrillo thank you!! I need to check this one out. My oldest son struggles so so much. Just last week I had the epiphany that he‘s likely dyslexic. I‘m getting the ball rolling for a diagnosis. 2y
