Yesterday was our no screens day so in the afternoon and evening I sat and read. I‘ve really enjoyed 2 of her books. This gave an insight into her and her life until now. Very interesting.

Unexpected visit to my favourite op shop. Favourite because it still has sensible prices and consequently fast turn over . I love the book section. Well stocked and in order . These two I‘ve seen around the book shops. Published 2022. Will be added to my TBR shelf. I also got a very old copy of The History Of Mr Polly by H.G. Wells which I studied in high school in the 1960s.

CatLass007 I‘ve seen the phrase “op shop” in the posts of several people. I‘ve come to understand that the US equivalent would be what Americans call “thrift stores.” Is “op shop” an abbreviation for something? 2y
Jeg @CatLass007 it is the same as a thrift shop or charity shop and it‘s short I think for Opportunity Shop. 2y
CatLass007 Opportunity Shop. I like that very much! 2y

I don‘t know how to review this one. It started off really well but I wasn‘t quite ready for the spiritual aspects of the book. This is what happens when you pick up a book without knowing much about it beforehand! 😊 It‘s the type of book where I want to call a friend and ask ‘What did you think of this book?‘ Cos I‘m really not sure how I feel about it. It‘s left me a bit speechless.
