Playing witchy games, reading witchy books 📚 this one was a rando library find (the best kind) pretty good & some very fun imagery but not as much world building as I tend to like in my fantasy romcoms 🔮 Koriko is a sweet coming of age solo journaling RPG— I highly recommend! 🧹✨
4/5
This was a super fun paranormal play on the movie Mr. and Mrs. Smith. I thought the characters secretly being in opposed paranormal groups worked really well, but when they learn who the other really is they have to look closer into the organizations they are a part of. I wished there had been a little more to the conclusion, but overall it was a fun read with paranormal rom-com vibes

Fun and lite with a side of witchiness… the perfect pallet cleansing book and just what I needed!
This was a fun fantasy romance. It started at the wedding, which doesn‘t happen. And you get flashbacks to the year before and when they meet, etc. and watch them fall in love. You are also following them in the present day and everything they are going through.
I‘ve never watched Mr & Mrs Smith, which is what this is based off of, but with witches. I recommend!
I‘ve been on a fluffy book kick for a few weeks. This is Mr. & Mrs. Smith with witches, & I enjoyed it. The character development of the side characters wasn‘t the best, but who cares when there‘s a leopard, ostrich, & other animal familiars who are disguised to pass as regular pets? Flashbacks show the progression of the 2 MCs romance. Romance, friendships, magic, & fun. Think this is my #doublespin for this month.
Reminiscent of Mr. & Mrs. Smith, but in a good way. Savvy and Griffen are such a good pair, even when they‘re supposed to be on different sides.
