pickIf the kind of hilarious title for this Fall's upcoming volume didn't tip one off, vol. 4 starts to see events coming to a head in some pleasingly unexpected ways. The hidden strength of the series thus far is in the ways it tricks you to think ahead of it, only making the real outcomes all the more surprising.

Out with the family today, finally commited to the next entry in the series (was only a matter of time, mind). Snuck a peek at the end credits; glad to hear we'll be getting another one before the year is out.
pickThe fourth in a series of 27 books, Hades brings so many threads tantalizingly close to each other! It makes me wish I had all the books to read now. I am enjoying the sheer breadth of the storytelling and the characters and the inventiveness apparent on each page.
pickAnother volume down! Loving how the storylines continue to converge, and now I'm noticing some references to other MZD books as well. Can't wait for volume 5 on Halloween!
