As the romance story between Jules and Ruben was mentioned through all the books, I had very expectations.
The reason of their first break up was slowly revealed. While I appreciated the narrative style, how the conflict was resolved did not add up. I struggled to relate to Jules.
Regarding Ruben I also struggled to distinguish him from the other male characters in the previous books.
I wished for more character depth and development.
Not too deep, but an enjoyable addition to the series.

I‘ve been waiting for this one in the series! I‘ve been so interested in Jules and Ruben‘s story. Their history wasn‘t as dramatic as I thought it was going to be but I still enjoyed their story.
This was the first one not set in New Orleans. They travel to Houston, Salem and then over to London.

Another solid read in this paranormal romance series. They are technically standalone, but best read in order. This series features a family of sisters who are powerful witches, each one falls for another supernatural. This entry of the series is a second chance romance, featuring the eldest sister and a powerful vampire. This book is more serious than the previous books, the ending is very intense.⬇️
