I kind of picked this book on a whim, but I really enjoyed it. In the aftermath of her brother‘s death, June escapes from Ohio to Scotland to try to figure out how to deal with her grief and with the help of the friends she makes, she reimagines a new path for herself. I was so invested in all the side characters to this story as well. I would love to see another installment into this world. This was my June #BookSpin

I don‘t think I shared this here, but a while back my son‘s school put on Shrek the musical and ever since then my son has been absolutely obsessed with the franchise. I love it. We cycle through the movies and tv specials like clockwork around here. I have also noticed the Shrek references keep popping up in random other places too. There was one when I read Doctor Sleep for #LosersClub in April and now I caught another one here lol

I‘ve been avoiding Litsy all day because I knew I was gonna be late posting my #BookSpin list. 🫣 Peeking at the numbers and starting my #BookSpinBingo card next. I decided to start rolling over my free spots left from the previous month. My goal for June is to get caught up with my Goodreads goal. Currently 18 books behind but it‘s fine 😂🍍
