From the New York Times bestselling author of All the Missing Girls and "master of suspense, Megan Miranda" (Mary Kubica, New York Times bestselling author of The Good Girl), a thrilling mystery about a group of former classmates who reunite to mark the tenth anniversary of a tragic accident--only to have one of the survivors disappear, casting fear and suspicion on the original tragedy.

A decade ago a tragedy creates a connection between 9 individuals whose bus crashes in the remote Tennessee wilderness. From that point on the group continues to meet yearly, even as their group dwindles down as 2 of the survivors commit suicide. For what reasons do they continue to meet and what secrets are being withheld of what really happened that fateful night? Not Miranda‘s best but still a decent read ☺️

Jjaxn95 I‘m really into survivor tales at the moment…. Watched Yellowjackets on Paramount+, then Society of the Snow, and now starting Lost - all within the past 2 weeks. Guess I‘ll carry this new fixation over to my reading habits as well! 10mo
Bec_lectic @Jjaxn95 well this will be perfect for you then as well!! ☺️ 10mo

A group of friends gather every year at a cabin in the Outer Banks to commemorate a tragedy that they all survived. They started as nine and are now down to seven. The story alternates between the past and the present and of course secrets are revealed. Megan Miranda is a must read author for me, but this one falls flat. The past storyline felt like a stretch. Thanks to NetGalley and @SimonSchuster for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.
