My #TBRtarot pick this month I read in one sitting. The 2nd in the series I just can‘t get enough of. I love the concept of someone from our time getting sucked into this fantasy world. Romy has to learn everything about how the world works, how to ride a horse and how to find her magic. In this one,our King and Romy are on the outs but must travel together or risk getting killed by the King‘s brother who stole the throne. On to the next! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

On the run and considered a traitor, Romeria tries to deal with the life she had to give up when Zander flees his throne to save her life. Together, they adventure to take back his throne, but prophecy is keeping them away from each other, for Zander cannot trust his feelings for her, not when everything he knows tells him that her powers make her the most dangerous person in their world.

As I said, I've decided to re-read the first book before reading the second. Then I went to Goodreads and saw some 2 and 3 stars reviews. I was shocked, really!
What's the difference between an experienced author and inexperienced one? The former knows how to connect descriptions, characters, pace of the story and make them enthralling. For me, K. A. Tucker does exactly that.
When I start her books, I'm not able to put them down.
I loved it!
