I really enjoy Rachel Harrison but this collection of short stories is only about a three and a half star rating.

vivastory I was going to check this one out but based on your review I think I will pass. I have read only one Harrison book & didn't care for it, however I have been meaning to give her another shot 9mo

“Reply Hazy, Try Again" a magic 8 ball that communicates with its owner. Not enough closure in this one.

"Bachelorette" a woman realizes that her childhood best friend has changed. I really liked this one.

"Goblin" the dangers of dieting. This story was my favorite.

“Bad Dolls” After her sister's death, Mac finds a possessed doll. Creepy,

so-so

So this short story collection was…ok. It was a super quick listen - under 4 hours I believe - and was broken up into 4 stories. None of them were bad - I particularly liked the one about a diet app that sets a vicious goblin after you if you don‘t follow the rules - but none of them were particularly great and none were what I‘d consider scary. Just ok overall 🤷🏼‍♀️. 🌟🌟🌟 #scarathlon2022 #teamslaughter
