Does exactly what it says on the tin. Satisfactory mystery. Detectives are a bit meh on the page. Would make a good tv series. #titlesandtunes #islandvibe

I went a little off the beaten path. #TitlesandTunes
Set on the Isle of Anglesey with a Northern Ireland connection, song also has a N.I. connection.

This is the second book in the series. Love the MC, Laura. She is a brilliant Detective. The story was fast paced and I never saw the end coming. Looking forward to her next adventure and to see where the relationship with Gareth will go. 4⭐️ #LitsyLoveReads

Laura Hart, after two months and the kidnapping of her son, has re-joined the force as a DI. Jamie McCann has disappeared without a trace twenty years ago but a skeleton has been found near a seaside town of Beaumaris, Anglesey. Laura‘s investigation leads her to MI5 and the Real IRA but nobody seems to want their secrets to come out.
Another enjoyable book by this impressive author. Set on the Isle of Anglesey in North Wales about a DI who returns to the Police after leaving following the death of her husband on duty in Manchester. The main case is linked to the discovery of a 20 year old body which has links to Northern Ireland. Alongside this more of the story to her husband‘s death is revealed and Laura also takes a leap into a new relationship.
This book is a winner!
Started reading ‘In Too Deep‘ by Simon McCleave, the second book in the Anglesey Series which will be published in January. Really enjoyed the fast paced action and characterisation of the first one.
Thanks to the author, publisher and @NetGalley for a review copy of the book for an open and honest review. @Tove_Reads @EadieB
