I actually didn't know much about the Eighth Doctor before I read this graphic novel. The first two stories in the book weren't my favorites, but then we start to see more character arcs that flowed through the whole thing. It truly was a Doctor Who novel with how everything is twisted and woven together in ways you don't expect.
This Doctor was fun. I really liked the character and want more with him in it.
