Not sure who sent this to me. And I gave it a go. But I don't think this is the book for me. Passing it along to the universe.

I'm going to Iceland tomorrow!
3 of my book club books are 500+ so I may be concentrating on those. But looking forward to seeing the numbers when I get back!
I loved the bonds between the horses and their owners. Horses are truly noble creatures. I loved the relationship between Nana Dale and Allie. Nana Dale passed, leaving behind deliberate clues which would reveal and explain many of her secrets, some of which she had held and guarded for most of her life. These clues and revealed secrets were life changing for those she left behind. Grief and joy can and do go hand in hand.
Elizabeth Musser has a beautiful and lyrical style of writing that draws you in completely into her world. She invites you to settle in to her characters' lives and become fully immersed in their experiences - the joys, the sorrows, the heartbreaks.
Poignant, nostalgic, and thought-provoking, this newest book by Elizabeth Musser is a must-read of 2022. I received the book from the publisher and opinions are my own.
