UNDER THE RAINBOW. | SUSAN. SCARLETT

This would be the adult book to try if you loved Streatfeild's children's books. Despite much romantic pining and several interfering villains (rather more nuanced than in the previous Scarlett books I've read) it's chock full of coziness and the vicarious joys of peaceful village life.
