Haiku U
Haiku U | by Ted Bernal Guevara
1 post | 1 read | 1 to read
Considering haiku, TED GUEVARA offers fresh exhilaration in this collection of 301 haiku. It is essential to know that the original Japanese haiku was measured by “breaths” instead of English syllables. Guevara takes this to heart. He expands on the essence of haiku. Traditionally, haiku partakes in the simplest of wildlife, its silence, and its song. Guevara agrees, but to him what could be more lush, poignant, and unpredictable than our breathy human nature.

Book #49 Read Harder
✅ Read an entire poetry collection. Haiku U by Ted Bernal Guevara 4⭐️

I LOVE reading and writing haikus. I thinks it's a beautiful work of art. There's a lot of sarcasm and humor. There are a couple I found to carry a deep message within all the sarcasm. I liked those the most. The structure was correct.
One thing I didn't like was the mention of known places/stores etc. I recommend to all lovers of poetry, sarcasm & humor.
