pickThis was my May #bookspin. I enjoyed the story, which I didn't expect. The story was a bit different as the main murders don't get solved. The person who really did it, is never questioned by the police and isn't punished at all. I think this might be more like how police work really is. Sometimes things look connected, but aren't.

pickSolid police procedural with some insightful stuff about the war on drugs, father-son relations and homophobia.
pickSolid crime thriller, set in DC. It is always interesting to read a book set in my city that does not focus on politics. It may have been a little exposition-heavy but I enjoyed the mystery. #5book5bingo
