Yes, I'm still way behind on reading and reviewing, but I thought I'd share that I finished my #5Book5Bingo #BookBingo card this week! 🙆♀️🙆♀️🙆♀️🙆♀️🙆♀️

I picked this up expecting to like the Italy section (I love the trope of people feeling alienated while abroad), but actually enjoyed the England section more. #5book5bingo
I finished The Paper Menagerie this morning, but I only had 50 pages left so I'm still counting it in February Wrap Up, the final edition. It was a really, REALLY good month. Only one book I didn't care for much, and I started that in January so it only half counts. 2 more for #ERMadLibs, 6 for #5Book5Bingo, and A, C, I, L, M, and S for #LitsyAtoZ!
Off to figure out March!
This was my final book for #5book5bingo, first book by an author you like. This mystery was dark and disturbing. Flynn has a way of painting people in a way that is layered.
I don‘t read a ton of romance novels, but I did enjoy this one, about two spies during the Civil War. Elle is a former slave back in the South undercover, and Malcolm is a Pinkerton detective posing as a Confederate soldier. #5book5bingo
I would not have chosen this book myself, but it seemed like a good choice for #5book5bingo for an Oprah book club book. I ended up liking it a lot more then expected. The story follows the lives of Hattie and her family through the years, each section focusing on another child.
A classic that I am glad I finally got around to reading. I chose it for a #5book5bingo book over 105 years old. It talked a lot about how people should and did act in England at the turn of the century, which is now not relevant. But the way people act and interact is timeless.
Short stories from one of Chile‘s best writers. I loved the one about a man quitting smoking, but they‘re all good. #5book5bingo
Solid crime thriller, set in DC. It is always interesting to read a book set in my city that does not focus on politics. It may have been a little exposition-heavy but I enjoyed the mystery. #5book5bingo
