I read this after All The Single Ladies to see how the similar topic was approached in 1998. While this one was not so much about history or political power, it was full of terribly interesting interview blurbs around different topics in women's lives. The book's pages provided a sense of community with the women featured as it shined a light on adventures, life paths, relationships and family situations. Positive. Great capture of experiences.
