I was pleasantly surprised and happy to read this! Despite TW‘s for drug use and some explicit scenes (but not too graphic) I found this to be highly entertaining. I enjoyed the nod to Sailor Moon. I love the friendship between Rockstar and Softboy, reminds me of The Odd Couple.

LibrarianRyan yeah. I do see what you mean about the Odd couple. BTW, I have not had a chance to post it yet, but I got your package and that stationary is AMAZING! 3y
Moonprismpower @LibrarianRyan glad you like it. 3y

Just nope. Way too much casual HARD drug use. I will never be ok with that. Lack of storyline with respect to the magic. Vulgar references to sex- im a romance loving, Hallmarkie for a reason. Dirty is fine, even good sometimes, but not without the romance. #lmpbc

BethM The drug use legit pissed me off😂 #jobhazard 3y
LibrarianRyan I agree. I had a hard time with the drug use as well. Mainly that it was so free and accepted. I get this was a party book, but I think you can party without the drugs. 3y
BethM @LibrarianRyan totally agree. And it wasn‘t like it was “just marijuana” it was drugs that will legitimately kill you. What kind of messaging is that?! Come on. 3y
Moonprismpower Ah man this is bummin me out! I was looking forward to this one! 3y

2 ⭐I am still trying to figure out what I just read. There were so many ideas in this book. Many that were started and dropped. The authors/artist even mentions it in the notes at the back. I wanted to like this, but still fell WTF did I just read.

phantomx I totally understand! I was thinking that this pick might not be everyone's cup of tea(wanted to give it a shot though😏). It did remind me of the cookiness of a Adult Swim series I watched years ago 3y
LibrarianRyan @phantomx you know me I‘m always up to try new things. And there were parts I liked. And I see what you mean about adult swim. It would fit on Robot chicken quite well. 3y

@LibrarianRyan the #lmpbc came! I‘m a little confused though bc there‘s three books and a book sleeve? I know you said you sent next month‘s early but that still leaves a book unaccounted for?

LibrarianRyan I sent both books I suggested. I can not remember which team member said they had not read a graphic novel or a manga so I sent one of each. promised Neverland is the one Ibelieve we chose together and Sing no evil was second place. Rockstar is this months book. And I almost always send my books in a sleeve Incase of mailing damage. 3y
BethM @LibrarianRyan ok! I‘ve never read manga is it back to front? 3y
LibrarianRyan @BethM Yes. And if you open it wrong, (at least in this book) it says that hey you are reading it wrong, and shows you how to read it. Because not only do you read from the back to the front, the panels are read left to right. (But word bubbles are still read right to left, up to down in a single pane). 3y
