A relief after the last book I read about reducing waste. I was worried I'd again get ridiculous suggestions (have the store remove the packaging for you!) or make me feel like I wasn't doing enough if I bought yogurt in plastic tubs. McKenna says multiple times that whatever you can do is important and to focus on what matters to you.

janeycanuck She tried to touch on the cost of a low waste lifestyle but that needed some work. It's hard to get out of the cycle of fast fashion, etc., and that was glossed over. But there were some good ideas and tips for small ways to make improvements that would be in any budget. (edited) 3y
Tamra It does feel overwhelming at times when I think about the scope of the waste problem, but I plug on doing whatever seemingly small things I can do. 👍🏾 3y
janeycanuck @Tamra Same! We keep making small, sustainable changes and I‘m noticing our garbage bin is less full every month! 3y
