Brontes Charlotte Bronte & Her
Brontes Charlotte Bronte & Her | Rebecca Fraser
6 posts | 5 read
The life of the Bronte family is one of the most poignant in literary history, marked by tragedy and troubled genius. This is a dramatic portrayal of a family whose works helped to shape the modern imagination and to redefine what it means to be a woman. Black-and-white photographs.

I‘m grateful for the quiet that perfect September weather brings. After three straight months of nonstop air conditioning I‘d forgotten what that sounds like.

@Eggs is kicking off fall with 30 days of #gratitude if anyone wants to join in

Aimeesue Poor Branwell. Even after her husband died and she remarried, he pined for her, apparently. While positively pickled, but I‘m sure the lovelorn longing didn‘t help his condition. (edited) 6y

As a former pharmacist I was completely nerding out here. Tenuously book related as apparently this is where Branwell Bronte bought his opium. Now you can buy bath salts.

squirrelbrain Love it in there! ❤️ 6y
Oryx @squirrelbrain It's gorgeous! I love Haworth altogether. It's so pretty, and gorgeous shops. Shame the weather is so bad today though - just drying off now. 6y
LeahBergen Awesome! 6y
JazzFeathers There are really few places that are as fascinating as old pharmacies 😍 6y
