While this was a Christian Suspense book, it had very strong Criminal Minds vibes. It reminded me of quite a few episodes, but mashed into one. The serial killer was absolutely insane. There was a lot to the story that worked together. It was done very well.

Tried reading outside my comfort zone. I could not get into the characters or plot. I was hoping for more on her career rather than a slow burn, uninteresting love drama.

Picked this one up today on NetGalley & I‘m so excited to read this! I need this to add some variety to what I‘ve been reading lately 😂

The action starts from page one and the adrenaline rush doesn‘t let up! I wasn‘t familiar with this author but I‘m impressed with her writing and storytelling. The characters are all well drawn, the descriptions of the mountain and the storm and the terrain are vivid. This fast paced adventure kept me up past my bedtime, and I can‘t wait for the next installment in the series.
