The pictures tell a story about the relationships and emotions that run between and connect humans to other animals. Forceful in language, concept, and color, this book is also big-hearted in how it renders children, animals, their feelings and expressions. Katrin Stangl is a German author, illustrator, graphic designer, and artist. Stangl studied at the Academy of Visual Arts Leipzig and was a Master's student of the artist Volker Pfuller."

#LetsTravelAugust Day 26: Originally published in #Germany, this is a beautiful picturebook that introduces young readers to simile; yet it manages to do it in such a fun way, as told from a child‘s perspective.
