pickI finished this in August but my book tour review posted yesterday. This book just quietly crept in & grabbed me. Character driven literary fiction & mystery, so literary mystery? Set in a small town in Nebraska in 1985, a couple face their own doubts & worries when their intellectually challenged farmhand is suspected of killing a teenage girl. One of my favorites of the year so far. Paired here with Fudgy Frosted Brownies inspired by the book.⬇️
