pickJust finished listening to this m/m romance on Libby this morning. It‘s a Christmas 🎄 love story. Adam and his daughter have moved to a small town after a bad breakup. Wes is the mysterious man next door. Well the plot is pretty predictable but the feelings and language are modern and fresh. Wear you headphones this is Harlequin and there are sex scenes. I loved the inclusivity and representation offered within the familiar Harlequin storyline.
Another really cute Christmas romance from Roan Parish that I actually enjoyed even more than The Holiday Trap. A single father meets the grumpy recluse next door after his daughter breaks into his house to meet his reptiles. Soon, he becomes an integral part of their lives and begins to venture back out in the world. Super sweet and adorable.
pickAnother sweet romance set in Garnet Run. Adam has just moved to town with his daughter August after breaking up with his partner. Gus takes an interest in recluse neighbor Wes who usually doesn't leave his house bc of some past trauma but is slowly brought out of his comfort zone as he helps Adam and his daughter decorate their house with Christmas lights. Apparently I'm reading this series backwards (I've read the 4th and this is the 3rd 😅)
I couldn‘t fit THE LIGHTS ON KNOCKBRIDGE LANE in last year, so I made sure to budget some time for it this year. So far, it‘s totally lovely—and such a quick read compared to the 700-pager I finished earlier today. I‘m gonna settle in beside my tree and see how far into it I get before I‘m too tired to go on.

Adam and his daughter, Gus move to Garnet Run, WY after Adam‘s partner realized he didn‘t want to be a parent. They move to Knockbridge Lane where hot, scientist recluse Wes has been living. This was lovely and had some very real human lessons to impart.👇🏼
pickThe first #Harlequin category #romansty to include a same sex couple. I bought at Walmart because I wanted to support the diversity. Category books don‘t stay in store long but you can still get in ebook or paperback on Amazon. This was delightful. Adam & Wes are quirky and vulnerable in ways that compliment each other & Adam‘s daughter, Gus, is believably precocious. It‘s just lovely. 🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄
