Lexie Elliott does not disappoint with this beachside thriller, filled with tension and atmosphere.
Fast paced and exciting. I love Elliott's writing.
Really enjoyed this tense, claustrophobic thriller.
This started off as a bit of a slow burn but then really picked up the action.
Bron, Georgie and Lissa have been friends for a long time, united by their love of swimming.
But now they are drawn together to mark Lissa's death.
For inexplicably though a professional swimmer she drowned at sea.
The girls just can't get their heads around is how a professional swimmer can so easily drown?
The three girls, Bron, Georgie and Lissa knew each other from their time on the swim team.
Best friends ever since they find it hard to believe that one of them is gone, Lissa has drowned.
Georgie, Bron and their friends Adam and Duncan gather on the island where Lissa drowned off the coast of.
But something is not quite right and making them question the situation, the girls are all asking themselves how such a proficient swimmer can drown?
How could Lissa have drowned?
She was a champion swimmer and knew not to swim in Kanu Cove in the dark, but she is gone.
The story line was a little mixed up and slow, but it worked out in the end because of Ms. Elliott‘s writing style and creativity. 3/5
