I should have bailed.
Couldn‘t stay away. I put off reading this because others said it was not as magical as “Matchmaking for Beginners.” It is, it‘s just not quite the same kind of magic. Phronsie is giving up on love and going to marry her best friend…and then a possible love interest is thrown her way. I just had to keep reading to find out which relationship she was going to devote herself to keeping. Attitude is what makes life magical.
Not literature but. An interesting take on life.
I really really liked this one. 🤩

Review is up on my blog. Check it out! This is a good one!

Bookmail is my favorite! I won this one on bookstagram!! 😀
I finally read July's free Prime read. I was excited to read it but I didn't love it. I didn't love the characters or the execution of the story. It's got all the right vibes and meet cutes. So much of the story feels forced together and "made", not authentic. The whole "magic of found objects" theme that whole story rides on is without purpose in the end and it makes you wonder why the heck it's been so prominent the whole time.
⭐⭐⭐
This book ended exactly how I wanted it to and provided hope in a way that only a book can do. In a world where everyone has flaws, it was lovely to see that each character was so well written. Every character had depth, which only made me love them more. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who needs a more realistic rom-com in their life! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ #AmazonFirstReads

This was a cute, quickie read. I expected the ending, but getting there was a fun read. The main character, Phronsie, and her best friend, Judd, decide they‘re done with dating & are going to marry each other based on their great friendship. Even though they aren‘t in love. Phronsie‘s interesting upbringing, boho mom, farmer dad & stepmom…and all of life‘s moments coming up to this.
Just started this book today. It was my free Prime book for July. So far it‘s cute but I really am not loving the heroine‘s name 🤦🏻♀️. #CurrentlyReading #Kindle
