pickHa, what a fun graphic novel! Katie wants to go to summer camp with her friends, so she raises money by doing odd jobs in her apartment building. When she starts cat sitting (for her neighbor‘s 200+ cats!) things get zany, especially when super heroes get involved. I would read more of this series. 😋
Kinda hard to #respectyourcatday when he looks like this, but #DannyBoy is a very social, lovable kitty who absolutely loves my feet. #dailychallenge #marchmadness I despise cherries but love schwarzwalderkirschtorte, which I make once every year or so, so happy #NationalBlackForestCakeDay (don‘t tell hubby or he‘ll want one and I have neither the time nor the ingredients!). Fave cake, hmm, sachertorte or other good chocolate cake. It‘s a theme!
so-soI kept putting this one off and it ended up being such a fun read! It does have a slow start since Katie is trying her best to raise funds to go to camp but when she finally meets the cats, yeah, all of that was hilarious! I did think the superhero backdrop was entertaining. Idk, it was a fun read but it did lack a bit of oomph compared to other titles, def want to see what B2 will give us
pickThis super cute young YA graphic novel follow Katie as she tries to save up to go to camp with her friends. Her cat sitting job leads her into the world of super heroes and the villains thwart, and touches on how perception would be shaped by social media and yelp.
May favorite part is all the cats-such fun to imagine these magical cats with various skills. 3/5 stars, I will read more of this series.
pickWhat a great read! Upper-MG graphic novel; Katie wants to raise money for summer camp to join her friends, but none of her attempts work out. Then she stumbles into a catsitting job - for 217 very unusual cats. Superheroes, supervillains, friend drama, and some truly awesome cats - and it‘s the start of a series! Kiddo has already read this four times and insisted I read it, too. Book two is on library hold! Highly recommend.
