pick23 years. Ms. Britain has been out here stringing us along for 23 long years. I did like this one a lot more than her last couple in the series. It moved quicker. It felt a bit more “Green Rider-ish”— chases on horseback through the woods, training on the castle grounds. It did, however, leave a LOT of questions left unanswered. So my question to Ms. Britain is, “How many more books?” Because I want a resolution for my girl Karigan. 8.5/10
pickAnother great installment in the Green Rider series. Same great characters and awesome world building. There are several things that are left unresolved in this book. Which makes me wonder how many more books there will be. I don't want to lose interest like I did with The Wheel of Time series. 4⭐

It‘s a large book at 830 pages! But I know the content will be epic!
It will be awhile before I read it, because the next book in the Green Rider series for me to read is book four.
At least I get to hold it and sigh 😌

Today I received an original painted preliminary sketch for Kristen Britain‘s novel, Winterlight. The artist is Donato Giancola and I‘ve admired his work for quite some time. I have been reading the Green Rider series since I was a kid and grew up with this being a touchstone during troubled times.
