pickAnother March book review. The Poet was a solid thriller & Cop/FBI procedural that sounds like it may become a series. Detective Samantha Jazz is getting back to her job after mandatory leave when her father, the police captain is shot & killed in front of her & she has learned it seems he was a dirty cop. She gets a case due to her poetry knowledge that appears to be a serial killer with a special interest in her. It basically worked for me, I ⬇️
