Arsene Lupin vs. Herlock Sholmes
Arsene Lupin vs. Herlock Sholmes | Maurice Leblanc
3 posts | 6 read | 3 to read
Arsene Lupin, the brilliant detective created by French writer Maurice Leblanc, was often described by critics and fans as "the French Sherlock Holmes." This cheeky volume of detective stories pokes fun at that comparison by pitting Lupin's wits against the formidable talents of one "Herlock Sholmes," a master investigator who bears a striking resemblance to a certain character created by Arthur Conan Doyle.

Maybe more of an « it‘s not you, it‘s me ». I felt that the parody of Watson (here named Wilson) veered too much into « Stupid Watson » territory, which I don‘t like.
(For Stupid Watson, see Hark! A Vagrant: http://www.harkavagrant.com/index.php?id=210)

CaramelLunacy Not fond of a Stupid Watson, but at least we can lure him into peril with jam! 4y
