Aargh! It can‘t end like that! The dilemma now is whether I find the next in the series quick, or go back and start from the beginning…

A murder wave that makes no sense is sweeping Southampton, while DI Helen Grace is dealing with a coup within her team. Hugely twisty and entertaining- and it read fine as a stand-alone until the last chapter, when reading random books-from-series really turned round and bit me. Aaargh!

I have been traveling for the last two weeks of work. My life has been NUTS, and I came home to this wonderful surprise from @CoffeeNBooks ❤️❤️❤️ Thank you, Harper for the thoughtful gift! I‘ve had this book on my TBR for a while ;) (BTW, I was in Gainesville today touring UF Cancer Center - that place is AMAZING!)

So stoked to finally have this in my hands! I‘ve already pre-ordered the next book so when that one finally makes it to the States I‘ll know!

Loved the latest book in the Helen Grace series they never fail to entertain!

I haven‘t felt the best the last day or so. Theo has been a constant companion as well as Helen Grace. Whilst I enjoyed the many story lines in this book, I about threw my kindle with the cliffhanger. Lol! I never noticed it before but MJ Arlidge used the word ‘whilst‘ A LOT. There is so much tension and I‘m very much looking forward to the next installment! Helen Grace is awesome! 🌟🌟🌟🌟

I‘ve been spending a lot of time over this last year and a half immersing myself in series fiction. As much as I enjoy Kim Stone and Jessica Daniel, I‘ve been missing my one true love, Helen Grace. The departmental scheming was the real highlight for me here as the main storyline actually seemed reminiscent of something I‘ve read before - I think it was in a Kim Stone novel. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Still 👍🏼.

My body is ready. I‘m going in!

While my husband and Matty are shopping I‘m curled up with my pug. Finally in the mood for Helen Grace! @TrishB @MicheleinPhilly thank you for suggesting to wait. This one already seems a little heavier than the others in the series.

Another great addition to the series 👍🏻 Helen was certainly in the crap in this one, I was anxious to see how she may or may not get out of it. And a cliff hanger for future books no doubt!

Trying to get into the new Helen Grace but lack of focus is making it hard. Theo is very much enjoying the recovery process though! Lots and lots of naps and cuddling. 😍
