BookOutlet had a sale today & I had a $10 reward so … I went book shopping. I love a good book sale. I got them all for less than the price of one on Amazon. Did anyone else do some Labor Day Weekend book shopping?

Got this from the library on a TikTok recommendation. Apparently it has good bi representation. After reading a little about it I'm not sure it's quite up my alley but I'm gonna give it a try.

I loved this. I do have one quibble about a reveal that was in retrospect a little too easy to guess... actually two. Not that the reveals weren't good, but the main character is meant to be smart, and yet she took sooo long to put things together. So that's one tiny thing that didn't quite work for me.

I wish there was more already.

I accidentally peeked ahead and I don't like what I read (not in terms of bad writing, I just don't want that thing to happen), so now I'm stalled on this a bit! Whoops.

Well, no, but I do really like this book so far. It's kinda slow, but I'm okay with that -- I always get so absorbed in it.

This is my #DoubleSpin book, so having finished #Bookspin last night, I'd better get started. I've only read a few pages, so I haven't really got my balance yet and figured out what the world is like...
