Hm. In two chapters this guy has already got a bunch of facts wrong (historical-linguistic ones; for instance, hieroglyphs and Chinese characters aren't a purely pictographic language). I am not encouraged!

pickI really liked this non fiction book which covered a huge amount of information. It turned history into interesting stories that were short and inviting.
