Mindy is exceedingly charming.

Introverting with this collection to start the morning. I think Mindy would be proud.

I used to be obsessed with Mindy, and now have a soft spot for anything she writes. My favorite of this group is Help Is On The Way, which was like a love letter to her daughter‘s nanny 💖

Election Week was SO HARD!!!
Reading was nearly impossible, I was glued to my various devices every waking second. I have almost no data left for the rest of the month on my cell 🤪
In the evenings I had to decide at some point to let it go and possibly miss crucial calls ~ and just get some sleep!
These essays by the Marvelous Mindy were just perfect to get my mind to turn off, so fun to read, very short each.
They got me through that week 😅

We've been watching the Mindy Project so when I saw this series of six essays by Mindy Kaling it was an obvious download. The Kindle version is free to Amazon Prime members and after you download them you can access the audio free. I listened to this in audio read by the author - it's about exploring her religious heritage once she became a mother. This one was short - 21 minutes - and I'm looking forward to the other five.

Short, sweet, funny, and relatable! It's always refreshing to see someone who you would otherwise think was completely outside of your spectrum (ie rich and famous where the world is their oyster) and realize that while, sure, they live a very different and privileged life they are still human- still no different than the rest of us in so many ways.

I love Mindy Kaling‘s humor and strong sense of self. This new collection of essays just came out so I thought I‘d check it out.

This was a really quick read and touches upon different aspects of how motherhood has impacted her life and her view of the world.
