Another fun adventure in Mystic Bayou.
Since this is a 3-hour novella, I finished it today but since it‘s an Audible exclusive it takes them ages to get the books into the Litsy database. Cute & fun with Charlotte, a fae midwife coming to Mystic Bayou in to deliver the mixed magical baby of two of the regular characters & in preparation for all the other babies that will come due to the energy from the Rift. Read the series books in order to get the full Mystic Bayou experience.

It takes ages for Litsy to get these in the database even with multiple requests & I end up forgetting to check back. I listened to this back in April when it came out & enjoyed it as I do all of Harper‘s books. Mystic Bayou has such interesting paranormal characters (in this case one is a male Irish banshee) & plenty of snarky humor. If you‘re new to the series, start with How to Date Your Dragon to meet everyone properly.

This was a bit of an impulse read, although it was in my TBR, but it opens up on Halloween! As snarky and sexy and I've come to expect from Harper, but I also really loved where the storyline of the rift went. I really hope there's still more books to come, but if not it was a great ending! Also, yes to sexy Irish male banshees!
