This book fit the prompt for parent/childmemior. It was the last prompt that I need to finish #booked2020 spring. Read some pretty amazing books!

Because of her fear of dying young just like her father, Jennifer was determined to live each day to her fullest & create wonderful, lasting memories with her daughter. This is a warm hearted account of their travels to Paris, Italy, Spain, & Amsterdam over 4 trips, filled with adventures & misadventures. There‘re also flashbacks on her childhood & her relationship with her father. 🔽

This would make an excellent beach read. It was fast and light and made me want to pack up and head out the door.

I found the narrator annoyingly neurotic at the beginning but quickly warmed up to her and enjoyed reading about her adventures and relationship with her daughter. There are better travel memoirs out there but this one was cute and uplifting nonetheless.

Don‘t avoid this one but you don‘t necessarily need to seek it out either.

I have a zillion other things I *should* be doing but instead I am going to take some time for myself to read, eat ice cream, drink whiskey, and snuggle with a kitten. Life is all about balance and everything else will wait.

1. I‘m working on making a big dent in the tagged book. I have an IRL book club meeting to discuss it on 4/9 😳 (And I just started it yesterday 😬)

2. I like too many! Contemporary fiction, YA, and nonfiction would probably be my top 3.

Reading this on vacation with my mom. We went to Europe in 2014 and it was awesome. Brought back good memories. Picture is us when we finally got to Rome!
