I enjoyed this third in the Cornwall series (as I did the previous two).
Evelyn is a young woman caught between a mother who has all but deserted her and a gruff, controlling grandfather, the steward of Wyndcliff Hall. When Liam, the new heir takes ownership he must deal with smugglers and possible villainous villagers while also trying to start a new business venture. The two become friends and each other‘s only trusted ally as they ⬇️
