Liam Twetheway inherits Wyndcliff Hall, believing he now has an opportunity for dream-fulfilling work. However, his future may be just as uncertain as granddaughter of his steward Evelyn Bray‘s. Mysterious shipwrecks, survivors, and debris call into question the integrity of the community surrounding Wyndcliff Hall, and Liam and Evelyn must navigate through the lies and deceit to understand the truth.

This is a novel about family secrets and divided loyalties, and how the first can create the second. Ladd has created complex characters...

I enjoyed this third in the Cornwall series (as I did the previous two).
Evelyn is a young woman caught between a mother who has all but deserted her and a gruff, controlling grandfather, the steward of Wyndcliff Hall. When Liam, the new heir takes ownership he must deal with smugglers and possible villainous villagers while also trying to start a new business venture. The two become friends and each other‘s only trusted ally as they ⬇️

robinb try to untangle a decade-old criminal conspiracy.
Ladd is a good go-to when you want a sweet, “clean” story with a little romance and a little mystery. 4/5⭐️ #coverlove
