pickIntriguing premise. Three distinct individuals instigate a crime wave in Gotham. But all three are the Joker. How can he be in three places at the same time? Has he always been three people all this time? Along with Barbara and Jason, two victimized by the clown prince of crime, can Bruce stop the three Jokers and get the bottom of what‘s going on? Really fun, highly recommended!
so-soI appreciate the reflections on the different characterizations of the Joker over the years, the at least bare minimum attempt of the Batfam to try and get Jason to talk about his feelings, the exploration of 'why Red Hood', I'll even go for the deliciously soap opera 'family reveal' at the end, but there's one or two exceptionally trite/frustrating moments in here that I cannot forgive. To each their own canon. 🦇
pan8/150 When I first heard about this, I thought, what a bad idea. Now that I've read it, I can confirm that it was definitely a stupid, horrible idea. All these years, Batman hasn't been facing one Joker, but actually three of them; The Criminal, The Clown and The Comedian. Each an aspect of the Joker's psychotic personality. Who was the first Joker? Who's the original one? We are left never knowing. Two big thumbs down 👎👎
pickThis story arc is very interesting in its concept (there has always been more than one Joker in Gotham City). The focus on Joker‘s impacts on Batman, Red Hood, and Batgirl individually is addressed through brilliant artwork from both the present day and the past.
My largest complaint with this one is that it‘s simply way too short; I would‘ve loved for this story to be longer!

I‘ve think I‘ve only ever seen Nicholson in Batman as Joker. I thought it was he tagged book was appropriate as there have been multiple Jokers throughout the Batman series.
so-soThe finale was intriguing, but I was really hoping for something better. I don't feel like the story justified the three oversized issues. I was annoyed with the tension between Barbara and Jason Todd. Aside from the twist at the end, I didn't really think there was much worth recommending, though the art is excellent.

I read this novel a few years ago but still remember this quote 😆.
pickThis novel has stunning artwork! The story was engaging and crisp. It gives a different twist to Bruce's story with small tweaks of change here and there. Over all it was an interesting twist to the batman story.
