I bought this book around 3 years ago and finally read it last month. I didn't know what to expect but I can safely say it was really good. Basically three women meet the same man and the consequences of what happens to them. I was so shocked at the end of the first part as I hadn't expected that! I can't say more as don't want to give anything away!

This was a quick read and definitely had underlining sinister vibes. It‘s three interconnected stories linking Gil, a forty something attorney who isn‘t quite what he presents to be. Set in & around Israel, I enjoyed the local setting. A good read, but perhaps a #BorrowNotBuy 😛

My son asked to go to the bookstore/ nobody had to ask me twice! He choose the two NF and the South Korean thriller, the bookshop employee suggested the tagged book. Felt good to be back amongst the stacks, even if most of the English language titles were mostly books I‘ve read.

Story is told from the perspective of the detective who solves the case and the victims, about a year before they are murdered. Three separate stories that are linked to one murderer. It's not a classic mystery as it describes the loneliness, thoughts and lives of the victims. The murders are brutal as in real life: disrupt, destroy, hurt. We get to know the victims, empathize and can relate - and then he takes them from us. What a book!
