Such a gripping book from start to end!
Such a gripping book from start to end!
Finished my first read for the #litsyatoz challenge - the letter D. I enjoyed the setting and the protagonist, but the overall story was a bit slow. The action didn't pick up until about 3/4 through the book, and I was ready to be done as I neared the 500 page mark. Good read but not as exciting as I'd hoped. The resolution also felt a bit rushed. ⭐⭐⭐

Finally starting The Dolocher, which I bought several months ago. If I can finish it before 2017, that'll be 51 books total for 2016 😃
Well this was just wonderful. Deeply entertaining with a gothic, yet heart warming story set to the backdrop of a harsh setting. Georgian Dublin is an interesting beast and you get to see it in its full glory throughout this fast paced book. If Janey Mack doesn't steal your heart, then no-one will. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Victorian London had Jack the Ripper.
Georgian Dublin had The Dolocher
