Pickpick

A well-told account of Harry and Meghan‘s journey together! I have nothing but respect for the both of them.

I know some people had a problem with the way the royal family was portrayed but I read it as a complete outsider just wanting to hear more about the story of the beginning of this beautiful family.

One of the best parts was the photograph section in the center. I‘m a sucker for pictures!

Wishing both of them only the best!!

Behold, this month's #RoyalRead! It's a big jump chronologically from the first two installments of our read-along, and also a shift in tone from the more historical bent of where we started. The Washington Post called this book "354 pages of sorbet" and honestly? That's what I'm needing right about now! #CurrentlyReading

rubyslippersreads I enjoyed this, but decided I should balance it out with the yet-to-be-finished 4y
Andrea313 @rubyslippersreads Great suggestion! That's going on my TBR. 4y

Mehso-so

Okay so here is the thing. I love the royal family. But this book was just not it. I didn‘t expect gossip or something juicy. It‘s just blah. Just blah. I think on a way they were trying to make duchess Kate and prince William look bad in some of it too. Like it doesn‘t have to be one or the other but it seems like it was trying to spoon fill glitter down your throat about them and everything you have already read anyways.
